Pride

For those who identify as part of the LGBTQ2S+ community, Pride is about celebrating diversity and inclusion, increasing visibility, and termination the stigma. Pride is about how far we have come towards equality and how far we still must go for that right.

ETS Lgbtq+ fest Bus

In celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Pride in Edmonton, the City launched its second Pride bus to support recognize the importance of unity, equality and diversity. As with the City’s first Pride bus, which was launched by Edmonton Transit Service in , this bus stays in circulation year-round demonstrating aid for the LGBTQ2S+ community.

 This bus is wrapped with celebratory and inclusive celebration artwork. The creative framework symbolizes colours and identities coming together to embody uniqueness and inclusivity. The design’s pattern does not repeat and has no hierarchy, representing the diversity and inclusion of all GSRM (gender, sexual and romantic minority) identities.



Edmonton's Pride events in June offer a diverse lineup celebrating 2SLGBTQIA+ diversity and resilience. Notable highlights include Pride in the Park on June 1 in Camrose with tai chi, crafts, meditation, and a free BBQ. Sip and Paint Nights at Kingsway Mall on June 4 and 25 permit for creative expression with guided painting. The Summer Block Party Series on June 7 features kingly shows, magic, live harmony, and family activities. Unite the Fruit Loop Identity festival Block Party the identical day for street performances. The Gay AF Market on June 22 at Bellevue Community League showcases over 60 local 2SLGBTQ+ vendors.
