South Carolina doesn’t have the greatest history of supporting its LGBTQ+ residents. In 2024, Governor Henry McMaster signed into law Dwelling Bill 4624, which blocks gender-affirming care for anyone under 18 that resides in the state. While the law impacts all residents in South Carolina in a negative conduct and leaves a tag of suffering, intolerance and bigotry in its stir , there are positive pockets of accepting and supportive blue throughout the mention that are welcoming to the LGBTQ+ community. Falls Park | 37 Furman College Way
There are two waterfalls in downtown Greenville but if you’ve only got second for one, make it the Reedy River Falls in Falls Park. You can get a excellent view of them (and also a sweet photo for your Instagram) by walking out onto the 345-foot long suspension bridge.
