Gay lovestories

gay lovestories

When we were growing up there were few (if any) gay love stories around for us to be exposed to, whether in real life,  on TV, or anywhere else in the media.

We would have absolutely loved to have been able to learn that gay passion stories do exist and that gay relationships and gay romance could be real, true and loving.

That’s why in this blog post we wanted to share some real-life queer love stories from some of our followers on Instagram in the expect that we can spread the message that adore really is for all. [no_toc]

Real Life Gay Adoration Stories

Branden and Stephen

Our first gay love story is from Branden and Stephen:

‘It was , Branden was in the closet, looking to find a association on an online dating website site; Stephen, also inquiring a relationship replied.

We talked online for several days, then we finally made the leap to convene in person.

Our first rendezvous was at a local brewery where we talked for hours and played pool. We hit it off immediately, both growing up in the rural parts of Alberta and this being our first gay relationship, we had so much in common.

Fast forward a month and we became “official” boyfriends. We were head over heels f

Cuddling In The Rain (Gay Love Story)

I went over to see my lover Jai, he drives a truck and we&#;re in this long distance connection thing and after a month of texting and FaceTime sex we finally get a chance to see each other! We had so much planned, Jai wanted to get me out to this nice restaurant and we go for a trek on the river and then come home and touch an kiss each other&#;s bodies, that burning desire which I been holding in for months! When he opened the door he gave me the biggest hug&#;.like he wouldn&#;t let go! I didn&#;t want to either, his big arms around my waist, with one of his hands grabbing my ass&#;

&#;Baby, damn I missed you!&#; He said

&#;I missed you too, (kissing) I see you grew a lil beard,&#;

&#;You fancy that huh?&#;

&#;Hell yeah!&#;

&#;Baby we gotta go, I&#;m taking you out to Maggiano!&#;

&#;Oooh you goin all out!&#;

&#;Yeah, I haven&#;t seen you in 3 months, I want us to complete something nice before I go back again!

We went inside cause I had to use the bathroom, and babe was just sitting on the couch, I forgot how sexy he was in person! I was putting on some chapstick when suddenly I heard it just a loud thunder&#;.

“I’m going to marry that guy one day

…I proclaimed to my best acquaintance Johan when I first laid eyes on Him.

It was the height of summer Like every Saturday evening, Johan and I would hit the male lover bars of Soho’s Former Compton Street, the heart of London’s gay scene. We started our darkness at Village for some karaoke, then headed to Compton's bar to chat up with the Daddies (who bought us a limited drinks).

Then we ended up at the G.A.Y. Delayed Club (sadly closed down in December ), which back then was one of the best lgbtq+ clubs in London. We danced till the first hours…all the pretty boys came here!

As soon as we entered G.A.Y. my eyes were drawn to this hot Greek-looking guy dancing topless on the dancefloor.

I could not accept my eyes off him!

I grabbed Johan…

“Johan, Johan, look! You see that guy? Him, over there. One day I’m going to marry Him, but he doesn’t know it yet!”

And He wouldn’t recognize it for another several years: I was too shy to go over and say, ‘Hi’.What if he doesn’t like me? What if he’s got a boyfriend? What if… The fear of rej

Gay love stories in historical fiction

What was it fancy to be a lgbtq+ man in Paris in ? While researching my novel The Beasts of Paris, I couldn’t come across much in 19th-century writing about homosexual love, and even later there are strangely few literary, gender non-conforming, period-set love stories (shout outs to Sarah Waters and Mary Renault), so I’m pushing the boundaries of both ‘love story’ and ‘historical’ here. All I found in 19th-century accounts is an occasional minor character – e.g. in Zola’s Nana – or documentary reports of police raids, or porn (thank you, Jack Saul). I delved into novels, paintings and photographs as well as history. And if my historical period stretches from Ancient Greece to the early s – well, you grab what you can get.

Maurice by E.M. Forster

The daddy of all gay treasure stories. Although written in , Forster’s book was not published until after his death, in He was inspired to compose it after meeting the writer and activist Edward Carpenter and his long-term partner George Merrill. It’s a deeply sympathetic picture of a man who experiences intense passion, first with his closeted finest friend Clive, and then, after Clive’s marriage, with the self-acce
